Original Summary
I've recently built and released an app this spring, and I'm trying to improve the conversion rate to the pro subscription after the user has finished onboarding, Right now, my app uses a soft paywall that appears after onboarding is completed. Each plan offers a 3-day free trial. Advanced features require a Pro subscription, while the free tier lets users navigate the app with basic features. I'm considering getting rid of the free tier and instead implementing a hard paywall after onboarding, which will require the user to start a 7-day free trial and then have to pay a yearly/monthly plan afterwards. I'm assuming if the user really wants the app, then paying should not be a problem. Any thoughts on this? Has anyone else tried implementing a hard paywall and had good results? submitted by /u/Successful-Syrup-217 [link] [comments]
