Wearing the RevOps hat at an 18-person startup and trying to figure out what category of tool we actually need. Every vendor calls their product something slightly different and it's making comparison shopping nearly impossible. "AI SDR," "AI sales copilot," "AI reply agent," "AI email assistant" - are these actually different categories of software or just different marketing for the same thing? What I'm trying to map: which term implies full autonomy vs which implies a human still drives do any of these actually prospect/find leads or do they all assume you already have a list where does "copilot" stop and "agent" start functionally is there actually a meaningful capability difference or is it 90% naming Would love if someone could just lay out the actual functional categories instead of the marketing categories.
