You can show someone your product and hear: That is really useful. I would definitely use this. Someone should build this. And it feels like validation. But then you launch and realize that liking an idea and actually changing someone’s behavior are two completely different things. I would trust a user who signs up, comes back, uses the product regularly, or pays for it much more than someone who simply says they like it.
