I am a long time programmer and search architect. Google groups stopped indexing Usenet material back in 2024. For those who remember Usenet newsgroups, this was a pre-web resource for discussions thats extremely valuable in understanding Internet history. I decided to embark on collecting as much Usenet data as possible through data donations and many other methods and after a year I was able to put it all together in a pretty simple interface so users can search for what they need in a traditional search box, filters, sorting and additionally a REST API so the message search and resources could be accessed programatically.
