Original Summary

Hey everyone, Whenever I needed to grab a video, reel, or audio clip for a project, I hated dealing with those online converter sites with fake download buttons, popups, and broken downloads. So as a student side project, I spent the last few months building my own standalone desktop tool: BABAji Ka Astra (BKA). It's a clean dark-mode Windows app built in Python (CustomTkinter + yt-dlp backend). What I baked into it: - Downloads video, audio, and images from YouTube, Instagram, and most platforms - Batch downloads full playlists - Windows taskbar progress integration (shows download % directly on your taskbar icon) - Drag and drop links directly into the window - Zero ads or popups I compiled it into a clean Windows installer so you don't need Python or dependencies installed to run it. You can check it out and download it free here: https://abdulrahmanark04.github.io/babaji-ka-vault/ Would really appreciate any honest feedback, bug reports, or feature ideas from you guys! submitted by /u/One_Sun5074 [link] [comments]
