Original Summary

I built a web game called "Which Happened First?" where you drag and drop historical events to place them in the correct order. Try it here: https://www.whichhappenedfirst.com/ The game pulls 28,000+ events from Wikipedia and Wikidata. The main technical challenge was handling historical dates properly - BC dates, approximate dates (circa), and different levels of precision aren't just Unix timestamps, so I built a custom date engine. Questions are generated with difficulty in mind - the system checks things like time gaps between events and same-year collisions, so you don't get impossible comparisons. Features: Daily Challenge with a global leaderboard Multiple game modes (order events, order people by birth, quick-fire rounds) Guest mode so you can try without signing up Results screen shows how events relate to larger historical periods Built with Next.js and Supabase, open source on GitHub.
