Original Summary
Hey r/SideProject , I wanted something I could leave running on my Unraid box that collects channel points on the streamers I follow, without keeping a browser tab open all day. I also wanted to see what it was doing. So I built Twitch Channel Points Miner, a Docker container with a React web dashboard. Screenshot of my own instance: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/niklasschaeffer/twitch-channel-miner-v3/main/assets/dashboard.png That's my real install, after about 580 hours of uptime: 743,715 points mined, 7,558 bonus chests claimed, 141 raids joined, and about 788 points/hour across 2 channels. Each watch slot shows the channel's live chest progress and watch streak. What it does (with your own Twitch account): - Watch earning: sends the same minute-watched heartbeat the Twitch web player sends, for up to 2 channels at a time (Twitch only credits two) - Bonus chests: claims them as soon as PubSub announces them, with a polling fallback - Drops: polls your inventory and claims finished drops automatically - Raids: follows raids and records the bonus points - Predictions: optional auto-betting with 4 strategies. Bets go in shortly before the prediction locks, so they use real pool data, and you set a max bet - Auto-lurk: optionally posts !lurk (or a message you choose) when a channel goes live, at most once a day per channel - Watch streaks tracked per channel - Auto Prime sub: pick one streamer and it spends your monthly Prime sub on them The dashboard: - Live stats, active watch slots with chest progress, balances and viewer counts - Built-in IRC chat viewer for each channel - A live console with filters (claims / watch / raids / predictions / drops) - Analytics: points per hour, earnings per channel, a breakdown by source (chests vs. watch time vs. raids vs. predictions), and drop campaign progress - Dark/light mode, English and German Self-hosting details: - Single container with a SQLite database, so no external DB is needed - Two images: :latest (Bun, needs a CPU with AVX2) and :latest-node for older or ARM hardware. I made the second one because my older Unraid box crashed with Illegal instruction on the Bun image - Unraid template included, with data in appdata. A plain Docker Compose example is in the docs too - Multi-user: each account gets its own isolated miner worker with its own Twitc - Twitch login uses the device flow (twitch.tv/activate). The token stays on the the browser - Local accounts use scrypt passwords. Login is rate-limited, registration closend Google sign-in is optional - MIT licensed Honesty note: there's no simulation mode, and every number on the dashboard comes from real Twitch API responses. The README has a "verified live" checklist and a list of known gaps. ⚠️ Automating your Twitch account is against Twitch's ToS. Use it at your own risk, ideally not on an account you can't afford to lose. GitHub: https://github.com/niklasschaeffer/twitch-channel-miner-v3 Feedback, bug reports an
