Still a bit of a WIP but hey never too soon to share and get feedback right? The core of it works pretty well, though 2 of my servers are dead so no evals with langfuse or long running QA tests yet. Well I collect retro games and I also like to hoard computer parts because I have a homelab, can I get a RIP for the server that died while making this also RIP Cyrus, well looking on marketplaces for good deals and exactly what I want can get boring and just be too much damn work. Like I want a damaged copy of an old game with a missing label to save $20 and fix it is that too much to ask??? Well after a conversation with my dad I came up with Snagr, you lay out categories and assign different marketplaces to them and an LLM using playwright will scan each marketplace for each item in that category looking based on your criteria, using page heuristics, like seller rating, description, images, what else the seller sells, reviews and so on, as well as the less tested DINOv3 sidecar to use image libraries of fake and real pictures of the respective item to have machine vision help identify fakes in a way you can improve over time. Using searXNG (Brave API on the roadmap) it ground the price to have context as to what it should cost as part of the context as well so we can weigh stuff being extra cheap as a bit sus (@ that $12 Pokémon emerald fake that inspired this) This is all available to be self hosted and I will consider a cloud version down the line if I deem it possible. repo is here https://github.com/oldmoldycake/Snagr feed back is always welcome as this is my first side project I have ever shared. AI was used to code yes yes, 90% Claude - 10% by hand, evert line of code went through a code review, tests ran, codeQL and ruff runs. SearXNG, Playwright, and PostGre, with PGvector if you want the DINOv3 sidecar enabled as well, are all needed to run this. You can bring and LLM provider or bring a local model, vision strongly recommended, tests using GPT 5.6 Luna and MiniMaxM3 and it costs like 20 cents to 40 cents per run.
