Original Summary

I got tired of copying and pasting useful AI output and handoffs from one agent to another so I concocted a self contained self managing second brain system with an mcp bridge for agents to put the notes to work with. I wanted the notes to organize and connect themselves so I wrote a deterministic connection engine and tuned it till it was stable. I then adopted Apple Intelligence to find deeper connections and to my pleasant surprise once the connections became reliable old important notes started getting resurfaced when they auto ljnked to new notes. Cohestry is my answer to what happens when an important note gets buried in the 100s of note without any guarantee it will ever be seen or used again. The second use case that occurred early in testing, I was working on the PRD for a GTA clone and then Cohestry connected it to an old note I had forgotten about. I noticed the connection on the 3d map and opened the node to discover it was the blueprint of an LLm powered life simulation game I wrote about last year and forgot about. I immediately promoted the note to evergreen so it doesn’t get buried in captures again. The MCP bridge gives your agents secure access to your notes. It has an auto redaction system that prevents the agents from seeing security keys like API keys or p8. That way you can send your agent in with confidence to retrieve required context. Also the system is designed with a smart token budget so the agent doesn’t try to ingest and excessive number of notes and bloat it’s context. The ultimate goal is so you can manage memory and context across multiple agents with Cohestry mcp.
