Original Summary
Built this because I was checking npm, GitHub and the VS Code Marketplace one tab at a time to see how my packages were doing. auracheck.dev : sign in with GitHub and ~20s later you get a public page with: - npm + PyPI downloads - VS Code Marketplace + Open VSX installs - itch.io downloads - GitHub stars, forks, followers - every package/repo with monthly history Everything rolls up into one score (" aura ") + a leaderboard. You also get a README card, an embed widget and a share image. A couple of things I cared about: - Bot downloads filtered out . Every npm release gets hundreds of downloads from mirrors and scanners even with zero real users, so that baseline is removed first. - Only your own packages count . You can't link someone else's npm account to climb the leaderboard. - Public formula , so you can see exactly how your score is calculated. Free. You can browse the leaderboard and profiles without signing in (mine: auracheck.dev/jesuslagares ). Super early (~10 profiles), so feedback is very welcome. Does the score feel fair for you? What platform is missing? https://reddit.com/link/1xan1ax/video/h30vmw007lwh1/player submitted by /u/zeragal [link] [comments]
