The idea came from a problem I wanted to explore: AI coding tools can search through a codebase and explain how things work, but I wanted to build something more focused on preserving engineering context and making it easier to revisit important information later. With DevTrace AI, you can explore a codebase, ask questions about it, save persistent memories linked to repository files, and record notes about potential impacts of code changes.
