Original Summary

Finding something good to watch shouldn't take longer than actually watching it. With hundreds of thousands of movies and TV shows spread across different streaming platforms, discovering something new can be surprisingly frustrating. You browse Netflix, check another service, scroll through recommendations, and sometimes end up watching nothing at all. That's one of the problems I wanted to solve with Streaming Discovery . It's a movie and TV discovery app that helps you find something worth watching, explore curated collections, keep track of what you've watched, and discover where titles are available across streaming services. The goal is to bring the discovery experience together in one place, rather than making you jump between different apps just to decide what to watch. The product is available at https://streamingdiscovery.com . I'm continuing to improve it and would love to hear from other indie hackers. A few questions I'm thinking about: How do you usually discover movies and TV shows you haven't watched before? What frustrates you most about finding something to watch across multiple streaming services? What would make you choose a dedicated discovery app over the recommendations already built into streaming platforms? I'd appreciate any feedback, especially from people who enjoy discovering films beyond the usual trending titles. submitted by /u/StartHopeful2162 [link] [comments]
