I’m building a Shopify inventory app, and some competitors have everything. Forecasting, barcode scanning, stocktakes, supplier management, you name it. For a while, it made me feel like my app wasn’t doing enough. Then I realised I could spend another year adding all that stuff and still have zero customers. So I’m trying to focus on one problem: making messy supplier files easier to handle without messing up inventory.
