Original Summary

Banks love giving you statements as PDFs, and accounting tools want CSV, QBO or OFX. Most converters I tried got most rows right and quietly dropped a few, which you only find out when your books don't reconcile. So I built StatementJet. You drop in a PDF (or CSV, Excel, OFX, QFX, QBO) and it: - checks the extracted transactions against the statement's opening and closing balance, and shows the difference if they don't match - exports to Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo), QIF or OFX - gives every QBO transaction a stable ID, so importing the same file twice doesn't double-count - converts non-PDF files in your browser; PDFs are read on the server and nothing is kept Free for statements up to 20 transactions (2 PDFs a day). Paid is $12 for 10 conversions or $29/month. https://statementjet.com?ref=reddit I'd love feedback on two things: which bank statements break it, and whether the pricing makes sense. I love simple, boring projects. submitted by /u/Fabulous_Income_7323 [link] [comments]
