Original Summary
I kept leaving calls unsure who agreed to do what, so I built Afterword. It's out today. It sits in the menu bar. When a Zoom, Meet, or Teams call starts, it starts on its own, transcribes on the Mac as you talk (Apple's on-device speech model on macOS 26), and when you hang up, it saves a Markdown note with a summary, decisions, and action items into a folder you pick. Nothing is uploaded, and it doesn't join the call as a bot, so your meetings stay on your Mac. A few things I cared about: - A setting for people who stutter or have speech differences, using Apple's model made for atypical speech, so more voices are handled locally. - Live translation when the other person speaks another language, offline. - A switch to only write down the other person, so your own voice isn't recorded at all. The first 25 people who sign up on the site get a free lifetime license. After that, you can get a $39 lifetime license, or pay $4/month or $29/year, with a 7-day free trial.
