I got tired of PDF sites that make you upload contracts and tax forms to a server just to merge two files, so I built FreeToolBench: https://freetoolbench.com Everything runs locally in your browser (pdf.js, pdf-lib, a WebAssembly build of QPDF, and Tesseract for OCR). You can open DevTools → Network while you use a tool and watch that no file data is sent. What's in it: 101 PDF/document tools: merge, split, compress, OCR, redact, sign, password protect, PDF ↔ Word/Excel/PowerPoint/images, invoices 16 text tools, 22 developer tools (JSON/YAML/SQL formatters, regex tester, JWT decoder…), 19 calculators It's free, with no signup or watermarks.
