Original Summary
A few weeks ago I launched https://mesim.io , a travel eSIM marketplace I built myself. The idea was pretty simple. International roaming is expensive, and comparing eSIM plans between different providers is a pain. I wanted to build something that makes finding affordable travel data easier. Currently have over 7,000 eSIM plans covering 200+ destinations, with a focus on competitive pricing and a simple checkout experience. I've been working on SEO, improving the website and experimenting with different ways to attract customers without spending heavily on advertising. Recently started getting consistent organic sales, around 5+ a day, which has been pretty encouraging considering how new the site is. One thing I've learned is that building the product is only half the challenge. Getting people to actually discover and trust a new brand is a completely different game. Would genuinely appreciate some feedback on the site, particularly the homepage, pricing presentation and whether you'd feel comfortable purchasing from a newer eSIM provider. Also curious how other founders got their first 100 customers without relying on paid ads? submitted by /u/mathewbowyer [link] [comments]
