Original Summary

I'm a solo technical founder with 11+ years of Android development experience. Over the past year, I've been building something around a question: What if people who understand an industry could build software businesses without having to assemble an entire development team? Think about educators, consultants, community leaders, or industry specialists. They understand their problems better than most developers. But turning that knowledge into working software is another story. So I built Mismaiti, an AI-assisted platform designed to generate industry-specific digital ecosystems. Not just mobile apps, but combinations of: - Native mobile applications - Web-based administration systems - AI-assisted content workflows - Industry-specific features and integrations Our first vertical, MyWarta, is already operating. It helps churches create their own branded mobile applications and management systems. We have real users and our first paying customers. Now I'm preparing to open the underlying engine to external beta users. But here's what I'm still trying to validate: Do domain experts actually want to operate their own software businesses, or would they rather have better tools for their existing work? That's a pretty important distinction for our direction. I'd genuinely appreciate perspectives from founders, consultants, and people working in specialized industries. Would you want to build software around your expertise, or would managing a SaaS business be more trouble than it's worth? submitted by /u/_ibustami [link] [comments]
