Original Summary
The video in this post was made in RapidCreate itself: the Post Studio's Laptop template with screenshots of the app, exported as a video with music and swipe sounds. 3 months ago I posted here about launching my first SaaS (a quoting tool for tradespeople) and getting zero replies from 60+ cold DMs and emails. My takeaway was to stop cold outreach and do content instead: TikToks, Reels, carousels, showing the app. Problem: making that content took longer than building features. Every video meant writing a hook, finding footage, captioning, matching my brand's colours and fonts, exporting for three platforms. I'd lose an evening to two videos. So I built RapidCreate, solo, £0 budget. You type a hook and it makes up to five finished vertical videos in your brand. It also does carousels and single posts from your brand, and you can paste your website or App Store link and it drafts the brand kit for you. It just went live on the Microsoft Store. Being upfront this time: unlike my last post, a lot of you probably ARE the target audience, since most of us have to market our own products. So yes, it's partly a plug, but I mostly want your take on the decisions below. Decisions I'm unsure about: It's a desktop app, not a web app. Rendering, captions and voiceover run on your own computer, so exports are fast and my server costs stay low. But it means a download, and it's Windows only for now (macOS coming soon). Would that stop you trying it? Credits instead of unlimited. The AI writing costs me per use, so plans come with monthly credits. Does that feel fair, or does counting credits put you off? The free start. Your first five videos and your first post are free, no plan needed. Enough to judge it, or too stingy? The landing page. Does it tell you in five seconds what this is and who it's for? Honest answers welcome, same as last time. If you try it, I want to hear what broke or felt clunky. https://rapidcreate.io Music: "Upbeat Corporate" by Soundrider/Dope, CC BY 3.0 submitted by /u/MacLinz [link] [comments]
