Posted WeiiGo to r/TestFlight last night. 80 minutes later a tester reported that searching "Chania" or "Crete" returned nothing while "Greece" worked. We'd never hit it because we always searched the big cities. Fixed for the next build, but it's a good reminder that nobody on the team is a normal user any more. What it is: an iPhone/iPad travel app. Describe a trip in one sentence and Janet, the AI planner, lays out the days. During the trip she answers questions against your actual plan. There's a set of safety tools (SOS, trusted contacts, live location sharing, check-in timer) that we decided will be free for everyone, always. Charging for "tell my people I'm OK" felt wrong. Stack, for the curious: .NET MAUI client, ASP.NET Core API on Azure Container Apps, Postgres, Claude for the planner and assistant. One codebase for iPhone and iPad; Android is on the roadmap. What I'd like feedback on: The first-run experience: is it obvious what to type into the trip box? Whether the generated itinerary feels like a real plan or a list of tourist attractions. The Pro/free split: everything is free for testers now, but at launch the AI planning is paid while a free tier (including all the safety tools) stays free forever. Does that feel right?
