Original Summary
I focused on making the report easy to check against its source. It separates accepted orders, exact duplicates and rows with problems. Each exception has a reason and a source row number. The workbook has a summary plus the accepted and rejected data, and the original CSV is kept alongside it. The fictional sample starts with 26 rows. It accepts 16, separates 2 duplicates and flags 8 problems. The accepted total is USD 973.69. The sample input and finished workbook are free to inspect https://contra.com/products/xhHZSOr9-csv-order-report-kit-free-preview The full Python kit is $19 with source code, tests and an illustrated guide. It currently uses a fixed six-column format, USD and three categories. It needs Python 3.10+ and is intended as a starting point you can adapt, rather than a universal importer for shop exports. Would the rejected-row view be useful in your reporting workflow? submitted by /u/Olyveshka [link] [comments]
