Original Summary

Hi all. I'm a solo dev in Ireland and I just launched FaighPaid ("faigh" is Irish for "get", so: get paid): https://faighpaid.com The problem: freelancers and sole traders here chase late invoices constantly, and most don't know Irish law (S.I. 580/2012) already lets you charge business clients interest at the ECB rate + 8% plus a fixed EUR 40 / 70 / 100 compensation per late invoice. Almost nobody uses it, because working out the figures and writing the awkward email is a pain. What it does: Invoices with Irish VAT rates and sequential numbering (EUR or GBP) For every overdue invoice, a friendly, firm and final reminder ready to send Calculates the statutory interest + compensation for you to review (business clients only; it's a calculation aid, not legal advice) Clients pay straight to your IBAN, with copy buttons and an "I've paid" button that pauses reminders Reminders are manual by default; Autopilot is opt-in It's free with unlimited invoices during launch, no card. What I'd love feedback on: Is the landing page clear in 5 seconds? Would you trust it with your invoices? What's missing? Freelancers outside Ireland: does your country have a similar late-payment law you'd want supported? Thanks for looking, I'll reply to everything. submitted by /u/r00h1t [link] [comments]
