Original Summary
Hi there, For a long time, I’ve wanted a todo app that actually works the way I want it to. I’m not a huge fan of most existing ones - and, to be fair, I’m also a bit too stingy to keep paying another subscription fee just to manage my tasks. So I built my own. Called ADEO . Cross-platform. MIT licensed. I wouldn’t say it’s pixel-perfect or that I’ve built the greatest todo app ever. There are still plenty of things I want to improve and do in future (making it not only desktop, but web-based-selfhosted and bring mobile apps). But after using it myself for a while, it genuinely works great for me - which was the original goal. One thing that was especially important to me: my data stays with me. I didn't want my personal tasks and notes to become just another dataset sitting somewhere because that's how the product makes money. Today I’m finally making ADEO public. I’d love to hear what people here think - especially what feels confusing, unnecessary, or simply broken. (Well tested for Mac, tested for Windows, and almost not tested for Linux ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ).
