Original Summary
i'm building a shared travel app for couples, friends and families. one group per trip, day by day plans, shared wishlists and split packing. earlier feedback here pushed me to make it useful for the organiser alone first, and to think about what keeps it open during the trip. the next problem is the gap between trips. a group might travel together twice a year, so the app could sit untouched for months. my current answer is the after part: a shared album from the trip and a personal map of past trips, so there's a reason to come back before the next plan starts. i honestly don't know if nostalgia is a strong enough pull, or if the next trip has to be the thing that reopens it. for people who build apps tied to occasional events, what brings your users back between the big moments? and for travelers, would you ever open an old trip to show someone, or is a finished trip just done? submitted by /u/Gibbyn05 [link] [comments]
