Original Summary

Hey all, this is MorselMetrics (morselmetrics.com.au), a meal planner built on Australia's official food composition data. Most meal planning apps stop at calories and macros. I wanted one that plans the week for you and then shows what it's missing. What it does: - Autofills a week around who you're cooking for: diets, portion sizes, foods to leave out. You review every meal, lock the ones you like and swap the rest. - Checks 150+ nutrients and food components against Australian/NZ targets for each person's age and sex (pregnancy included). - Shows where each nutrient comes from, down to the ingredient, so you know whether to add something or swap something. - Suggests easy top-ups when something's running low. - Writes your shopping list, with pantry staples already ticked off. If a food has no data for a nutrient, it says so instead of counting it as zero. You can try an example week without signing up, and accounts are free (no card). I'd love honest feedback on: Is Autofill clear, or does the review step feel like extra work? Is seeing 150+ nutrients useful or overwhelming? If you're outside AU/NZ, would Australian food data put you off? The 60-second demo is above. Happy to answer anything. submitted by /u/Ill_Advantage6095 [link] [comments]
