Original Summary
I work in civil engineering/land development, and this is the web app I've been building: CivPath. A lot of the work I want it to handle happens between the tasks on a schedule. A submittal is sitting with an agency, a review comes back, something needs to be resubmitted, or another consultant is waiting on a decision. I'm building around those requirements, review cycles, dependencies and approvals so they can be tracked alongside the schedule. The question I'm trying to answer now is whether someone else can open a project and understand what needs attention. I don't want a tool that only makes sense because the person who built it is explaining every screen. I'd welcome feedback on whether the evaluation page explains that clearly. For people who try the app, I'm interested in confusing navigation, missing steps, and whether the Schedule/Gantt view helps. General UX feedback is useful, and I'll keep it separate from feedback on the civil/land-development workflow itself. I'm looking for 5–10 industry professionals, especially civil/land-development PMs or related project-delivery practitioners, for a 15–20 minute evaluation. It's unpaid and invite-only, using a fictional project already set up in the app. Uploads are disabled; please don't enter employer, client or real project data. This isn't for production use, and no purchase, sales demo or call is required. Details and the interest form: https://civpath.app/request-access/#evaluation I'm the builder. Access is by individual invitation. submitted by /u/Planner123 [link] [comments]
