Original Summary

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rangel.dreamcore (Only Android, too expensive to publish on the Apple Store right now 😭) A while ago an Instagram reel showed up teaching how to give a photo the "dreamcore" look. The tutorial was all manual: tweak the curves, shift the colors, adjust the tones, and you still needed a separate photo editor to do it. What it does right now: Live camera with the effect, so you see it before you shoot One-tap styles (Lilac Haze, Pink Dream, Pastel Sky, VHS, 2006 camera and more) Automatic sky detection and swap (clouds, sunset, starry, rainbow). The detection runs on the phone Retro stickers, text and polaroid/VHS frames "Photo with sound": ambient audio and a slow zoom, exported as a video Video editor with the same effects, and batch mode for up to 30 photos Everything is processed on the device, no account, no upload Tech, for the curious: Expo / React Native, with the effects written as GPU shaders in React Native Skia. The sky detection is a small segmentation model running in TypeScript. I'd love honest feedback: what effects would you want, and does the one-tap flow feel right? iOS is not out yet. submitted by /u/Spiritual_Hall2973 [link] [comments]
