Original Summary
Hi all. A few months ago I started building an app to fix a problem at home: my partner and I each had our own idea of how much we'd spent that month, and the two never agreed. Mayora is a shared budget: both people log what they pay, and both see the same numbers at the same time. Three things I built on purpose: Bills only count as spent once they're paid. Until then they're reserved, and "what can we still spend" already takes them out. You can import a bank statement PDF (two Portuguese banks for now) and the file is read on the phone itself. It never goes to a server. The monthly analysis splits spending by category and by person. What it does NOT do: it doesn't work out who owes whom, like Splitwise. It's for people sharing the month, not splitting a dinner. Free, no ads, no tracking. iPhone, plus a web version for Android users. Built with Expo/React Native and Supabase, solo. Happy to talk about any of it. Mostly I'd love honest feedback: what would make you switch from a spreadsheet? https://apps.apple.com/app/id6811080897 submitted by /u/Efficient_Gas_3879 [link] [comments]
