Original Summary
Hey all! I've been working on a side project called Layer , a wardrobe and outfit planner for Android, and I'd really like some honest opinions. The idea: you photograph your clothes and the app builds outfits from what you already own, so you don't have to stare at your closet every morning. What it does right now: Snap a garment and the background gets cut out automatically. Every piece is tagged by colour, category and style, and you can search them. Daily outfit with a shuffle button , matched to today's weather (now and later in the day) Weekly planner: an outfit for each day based on the forecast. Tap a day to swap it. Trips: pick your dates and the weather where you're going, and it plans your outfits and what to pack Wear history , so you can see what you actually wear and what just sits there Wardrobe advice: points out basics you're missing It's free: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.refits Some things I'd love to hear: Would you take the time to photograph your clothes? That's the step I'm most worried puts people off. Which of these features would you actually use, and which wouldn't you care about? Have you tried other closet apps? What made you stop using them? Any feedback is welcome 😅 submitted by /u/tio4tio [link] [comments]
