Original Summary
Here's the idea. AI can now write a whole small web app from a well-written prompt. So instead of sharing an app's code, a community could share the prompts that produce it, kept in order like a recipe that keeps growing. Anyone could improve an app by adding one prompt that changes it without turning it into something else. To prove the change works, they'd ask their own AI to rebuild the entire app from scratch using the full list of prompts. A reviewer reviews each change before it's accepted, and contributors get credit. Nothing is sold and nobody is paid. The apps would be simple, private tools: things like a workout log or a money what-if calculator. They'd work offline, with no accounts, and your data would stay on your own device. I'm looking for harsh but constructive feedback before I go further. If you think it's a bad idea, please say so, and tell me why. submitted by /u/lrdrvg [link] [comments]
