Original Summary
Before i write anything you need to understand the context - I had learned java after javascript in 2018-2019 just a an hobbie, already knew css and html in school and later in college. Create a bunch of failed apps ( lifetime 50 - 300 installs ) between 2019-2020 and moved on to affiliate marketing and blogging full time which were doing great for me financially between 2021-2024. So came up with an app idea somewhere around dec 2025 for a gardening app, but all the coding was rusty for me after a long break so i switched to ai assisted coding. At first i was reading some codes then fully vivecoding only to stop and seeing codes if something breaks or dont fix with just 1-2 prompt. the protype was ready by early feb and it was time to ask feedback from anyone who i know personally, it seems nobody cares about your app other than you inless it became some hit, anyway some give some solid advice and i made changes and launched the beta on feb 28 2026. Now the hard part going after every intagram user and and youtuber finding their email and reaching out. At first i did the same mistake as anyone else do reaching to oness who are modestly succesful - soon finds out you are in a long quee or they dont care ot ask an amount you cant pay. So you do the reverse go micro very tiny ones but then they mostly dont have emails and if they do they rarely check their mails. So finally the lower middle was the ones where i hit 8% response rate it was all churn and burn, they try complain, some gave feedback and moved on. But with each advice it become better and better then i watch some youtibe and came to know the shooting star reddit ( oh it was brutal in here AI slop, water depletion, Spam and what not ) so after some hurdles i stick to cold email outreach, and good old seo. Finally came out of beta on late jully but later soon finds out i rushed it as some bugs here and there start appearing when i goy my first paid user. WEll a paid user is diffrent than a free one and its diffrent than affiliates where you succesfully refer a customer he or she convert and you cah in the commision thats all. These people will fill out your mailbox, scream, will catch you by your collar if need be for a refund if you cant fix the solution in next 2-6 hours and they wont explain it in detail just vague things or its not working fix it or refund my money. Its also a learning thing and its beautiful, frustrating at first but really fullfilling. Okay so i get 4 paid users some 140 total users and so, but still working and struggling on the marketing part how to make it big and make it the next beautiful thing after my most blogs dwindle down in revenue. Oh i forgot the main thing the server my god you simply cant and should not host any saas on a shared hosting they are good for blogs but i had 3-4 times 1-2 hrs downtime and once the server administrator run some security update fucked up and restored to a 30 days old backup. i lost one paid user because of that and had to re
