Original Summary
I’ve been building a few things with LLMs lately and something keeps nagging me: I have almost no real process for making sure they can’t be tricked. Prompt injection, someone pulling the system prompt, the model doing something it shouldn’t once it’s wired to tools or data I mostly just eyeball it and hope. So I’m curious how people here actually handle it in practice, not in theory: Do you test your LLM features for this before shipping? If so, how manually, a script, some tool? What are you actually worried about: prompt injection, data leakage, the model calling tools it shouldn’t, something else? Has anyone here had an actual incident in prod? What happened? For those who don’t test it at all is that because it’s not a real risk for your use case, or just because there’s no easy way to? Trying to figure out if I’m the only one winging this or if it’s a general “we all know we should but don’t” situation. Genuinely curious how you all approach it. submitted by /u/Dangerous_Net517 [link] [comments]
