Original Summary
quick context: I found that classic to-do apps are great for hard deadlines, but they suck for flexible, recurring chores. whenever I put things like "water plants", "clean bathroom", or "swap bedsheets" into Apple Reminders, two things happened: Seeing 5 red, overdue tasks every single morning broke my system. The overdue badges lost their meaning, which made me ignore my entire to-do list…including the actual high-priority stuff Also it only told me a task was late, not how late. Did I water the plant 4 days ago or 3 weeks ago? No clue.. I wanted an app that just tracks: "When was the last time I did this, and roughly when should I do it again?" so I built What-Else. It offloads all low-friction routine stuff away from the primary task manager: native iOS design (SwiftUI) shows exactly how many days since you last completed a task flexible cadences instead of panic deadlines widgets & Siri Shortcuts it’s free to use (optional one-time/sub tip for advanced users). PS: The app is also available in German with more languages to come submitted by /u/NateDevJ [link] [comments]
