Original Summary
Earlier this week, I shared my interactive pixel-art portfolio on Reddit. The post reached 22K+ views and received Reddit's #1 post notification before the moderators removed it. More importantly, the project led to a paid commission for a custom interactive workspace. My own portfolio is built around an urban room. For the client project, I'm taking a different creative direction rather than reusing the same concept. The original workspace is built with Astro, React, CSS, and the Web Audio API. It has a CRT terminal, environmental changes, ambient sound, and little details to discover. I'm curious what other builders think about interactive portfolios like this. Do the explorative elements make the experience more memorable, or would you still prefer a straightforward portfolio? submitted by /u/Dapper-Window-4492 [link] [comments]
