Original Summary

My girlfriend has 4000+ Sims mods and every time we played together one of us had something missing or outdated. So I built a small sync tool for the two of us, and over a few months it turned into a proper app. One person hosts, friends connect on the same network or over the internet with a join code, and it shows exactly which mods, configs or saves are missing or different. Only those files get copied, straight from PC to PC, and nothing changes until you've seen the list. It knows the mod folders of 120+ games now (Minecraft, Valheim, Sims, BG3, WoW and so on). Stack is Tauri 2 (Rust + React). It's free, MIT, no accounts, no tracking. https://synccrate.app Happy to hear feedback, especially on the website and first-run experience, that's where I'm least sure. submitted by /u/zvone1122 [link] [comments]
