Hey everyone！I’ve been using Codex for a few months, and it’s honestly made building things a lot of fun. I get an idea, get excited, and before I know it, I’ve spent weeks building and polishing it. Then I share it on X or Reddit and… crickets. I’m starting to realize that “I can build this” and “someone actually wants this” are very different things. So I’m trying to get better at validating ideas before getting carried away with the build. But the advice to “just talk to potential users” is where I get stuck. How do you actually find those people, especially when you don’t already have an audience? And if you post somewhere and get no response, how do you know whether the idea fell flat or barely anyone saw it? For those who’ve been through this, what helped you get your first few honest conversations with potential users?
