Original Summary
Hey r/SideProject ! Solo dev from Argentina here. This is DebAi, an expense tracker for iOS and Android. The problem: Every budgeting app I tried died the same way. After two weeks I stopped typing in every coffee and grocery run, and the data became useless. What using it looks like: 🎤 You hold the mic and say: "12 dollars coffee, 40 on groceries, 25 for Uber yesterday" ✅ You get three expenses, each in its category (Food, Groceries, Transport), with yesterday's date on the Uber one. Review, tap save, done. 📷 Or you snap the supermarket receipt ✅ It reads the total, the store and the date, and suggests a category. Then the rest builds on that: - Budgets per category, with bars that fill up as you spend (green → red if you go over) - Shared lists to split costs with a partner or roommates (who paid, who owes what) - Home-screen widgets to check how the month is going without opening the app - English, Spanish and German Stack, for the curious: Flutter, local-first with SQLite (drift), and a small backend for sync and shared lists. Launch weekend: Normally it's a subscription ($4.99/mo or $49.99/yr). I have very few users and almost no reviews, so anyone who signs up before Monday (Oct 19) keeps premium free for life. No credit card, no codes, nothing renews. Tip: connect Google or Apple so you keep it if you reinstall. Honest feedback very welcome, especially: does talking actually feel faster to you than typing?
