Original Summary

Everything is excellent at finding files, but not everyone wants a search tool taking up resources all day for the occasional lookup. FileIndex is a lightweight Windows file search app with fast initial indexing and low memory usage. It supports Korean initial-consonant search, advanced filters, duplicate detection, and keeps its file list on the PC. Disclosure: this is my project. I’d appreciate feedback on the feature set and positioning. https://kilho.net/fileindex submitted by /u/Double-Camera-3447 [link] [comments]
