I’ve been working on two open-source projects, and this video brings them together. It’s a walkthrough of LightNVR, captured from a running instance with DemoForge. The video shows a four-camera live view, recording search and timeline playback, appearance settings, and drawing a detection zone around a driveway. LightNVR is a network video recorder you can self-host for RTSP/ONVIF cameras. I also offer managed cloud hosting for people who’d rather have the NVR run off-site. DemoForge is the tool I used to make the video. It replays a scripted browser walkthrough and produces the video, narration, and captions. This is a synth voice based on my own voice; yes that is a new feature I added to demo-forge this morning.
