I save a lot of book recommendations from TikTok and Instagram, then never find them again. So I built BookTrap: https://booktrap.app Paste a TikTok or Instagram link (video, reel, carousel, or a whole public collection) and it pulls out every book mentioned or shown. It reads the covers, spines, captions and what’s said out loud, then builds your want-to-read list with real covers. You can export it as a Goodreads CSV and upload it to Fable at fable.co/goodreads-import. It’s free, and you don’t need an account to try it. I’d like your honest feedback on where to take it next: Mobile app: would you use this as an app, for example by sharing a video straight to it from TikTok? Or is the website enough? Movies and shows: would you want the same thing for recs you see in videos, with export to Letterboxd, Trakt or similar?
