Original Summary

I just published my first iPhone app, Relay. The idea is to keep the job and the outreach in one place, instead of switching between a job post, a contact lookup, a draft email, and a résumé file. You enter a role, choose the company, and set how many contacts you want to look up. Relay uses Hunter to find professional email addresses, fills in your own referral-request template, and sends through your connected Gmail account. You can attach a PDF résumé and review drafts before scheduling them. A couple of limits worth being upfront about: a relevant company contact is not necessarily the hiring manager for that vacancy, and a verified address doesn’t guarantee a reply or delivery. You need your own Gmail account and Hunter API key; Hunter limits and charges apply. No invite code is needed. Getting the app onto the App Store turned out to be a project of its own: signing, privacy disclosures, reviewer walkthroughs, and changes after the first review. Happy to talk about that part too.
