Original Summary
Last week I published a vibecoded tool for job search. And a week later it hit 5k+ users, and the server went down a couple of times, so I ended up upgrading to a pro plan lol Figured I’d share a few things while it’s still fresh. What it is You connect it to your own agent (I use Muse) and it runs the whole job hunt for you: finds roles, tailors your resume to each one, applies, and logs the results. Why I think it took off Tbh, I think it's mostly because it’s a problem I actually had, plus some luck. I had a tough time sending out thousands of apps and tailoring my resume. Biggest takeaway this week The DMs and feedback haven’t stopped. I’m trying to actually read and reply to every one. A lot of people mentioned the UI is simple and easy to pick up, which honestly made my week. ❓Where I’m stuck: monetization I keep seeing two camps: Get your traffic stable first, then worry about money Charge from day one, because the only real test of whether people will pay is putting a paid tier in front of them I already have a waitlist for a pro tier and people are signing up, not a lot but it's growing. If you’ve been through this, when did you start charging, and do you wish you’d done it earlier or later? submitted by /u/_Beedog [link] [comments]
