Original Summary
I build Dynomatic on my own, on the side. I started it because the DynamoDB client my team at work relied on wasn’t keeping up with how we worked, and the AWS Console was never a real alternative. What it does: Environment Classification: Prod tables are marked red. It won’t read one until you ask, and edits to prod are staged and reviewed before they commit. Infers your data model: Determines the data model of a single-table design from the data itself: entities, collections and access patterns (ranks it against 13 known single table designs). You can also import ElectroDB or DynamoDB Toolbox entities. Once your schema is inferred or imported, use Schema Aware Query to compose your complex key values. MCP: AI agents can work on dev tables while production stays off limits (unless you explicitly give it access). Vector Search: From creating the index to backfilling embeddings to searching. And More: Sandboxed scripting in TypeScript and Python, a Streams live tail, bulk edits with a dry run and many other QoL features. Built-in Sample Mode allows you to exercise all the features against a local DynamoDB clone, with exception of S3 Import/Export. The engineers I work with at my day job now use it daily. I’d love feedback, especially from anyone else shipping apps on all three platforms. Built with Tauri v2 + React. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux. Download the trial, no account or login needed. I am currently looking for people interested in testing the app, DM me if you are interested. dynomatic.io submitted by /u/hpsiking [link] [comments]
