Original Summary
Receiving and decoding satellites is (in my opinion) one of the coolest things you can do with a radio. The problem is that it has a steep learning curve. Protocols are complicated, signals are hard to catch and track, and requires an investment in equipment just to get started.<p>Netsat is an internet stream that simulates the experience of receiving a satellite signal with an SDR. I simplified the physics quite a bit to make it easier to get started. In the future I'm looking to add more simulated satellites that give users a bit more of a challenge. More realistic physics, location based signal changes, maybe even a moon mission with a controllable camera.
