i had astra take on a 10 month old repo of mine <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;github.com&#x2F;callbacked&#x2F;neural-band-poc" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;github.com&#x2F;callbacked&#x2F;neural-band-poc</a> to see if i could get the Meta neural band work independently of the glasses, because i think it is a really cool piece of tech that is held back by the glasses<p>and after making quick work of that, i wanted to use it to control my mac so naturally I made a macOS app for it! and it feels pretty cool using it to switch desktops by swiping my finger, or imitating turning a knob to adjust my volume<p>though, it&#x27;d be really cool to see if I could train a model for it so any surface could act as a track pad<p>i definitely haven&#x27;t scratched the surface of what can be done with this neural band, but it has been a nice first step all in all :)
