Original Summary

Long time programmer, web developer, whatever we want to call it these days. I've also always been a big Scrabble player. Nearly 10 years ago I started building an infinite Scrabble-style board game. Built the engine on my laptop in the evenings, got it fully working and playable... and then just let it sit. For almost a decade. With tools like Codex and Claude getting so good lately, I finally decided to dust it off and give it a proper overhaul. The result is Wordio . In the process of rebuilding it, I ended up splitting it into two different games: Wordio Classic - The original idea. A never-ending multiplayer board that just keeps growing as people play. Wordio Rush - Head-to-head matches with 5 timed rounds to see who can come up with the highest scoring words. So basically two ways to play. Take your time or play under pressure. Anyway, pretty cool to finally have this thing out in the wild after all these years. Would love some constructive feedback from fellow developers (or word game fans). submitted by /u/joshmarthaller [link] [comments]
