Original Summary
About a month ago, I started working on a card game called Unicorn. The idea was simple: what if building a billion-dollar startup was a competitive card game where you could hire employees, launch products, make partnerships, steal someone's CTO, and betray your friends? I couldn't justify spending much on the first prototype, so I made a playable version for about $2 using printed paper and cards. I've since been testing it with real people, changing mechanics based on their feedback, and trying to figure out how to turn it into a real physical product. The hardest part so far hasn't been making the game. It's getting strangers to discover it. I now have a website and a Kickstarter pre-launch page, but I'm starting almost completely from zero. For anyone who's launched a physical product without an existing audience, what actually helped you get your first interested customers? submitted by /u/Narrow_Compote_6069 [link] [comments]
