Original Summary

i'm building Offscreen, where companies sponsor focus sessions instead of interrupting people with ads. a founder just paid me €25 to test it. users see the sponsor before starting, then the sponsor disappears completely while they focus. if they finish, they get a small reward and see the sponsor again afterward. we're going to measure whether people can actually remember the sponsor 24h later and around a week later. i'm mostly curious whether this creates more goodwill than a normal ad or whether people just take the reward and forget who paid for it. submitted by /u/SubstantialFunny649 [link] [comments]
