Hey everyone! After years of building products for other companies, I decided to start my own indie hacking journey. One thing that always annoyed me was constantly switching between ChatGPT, Claude, and whatever I was reading or working on. Copying text back and forth just to summarize an article or understand a PDF felt unnecessarily tedious. So I built Thinkbeside , an AI sidebar for Chrome that stays next to whatever you're working on. Here's what it can do: Chat with webpages, PDFs, and YouTube videos Use GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, and Grok in one place Compare responses from multiple AI models side by side Summarize, translate, or explain selected text Rewrite and improve text directly while browsing Ask questions across multiple open tabs I know AI sidebars already exist, but I wanted to build something I'd genuinely enjoy using every day.
