Original Summary
I've been making my own vlogs with Codex for about four months. It helped me finally start, because making a video felt more like playing around than committing to a second job. Codex can already do the editing. But you still have to give it access to your footage, set up the tools, keep track of the edit and figure out how to make changes. After a while I had this whole zoo of helper tools, and apparently building an app was my solution to having too many tools. The point is to have that setup ready: your footage connected, an agent with tools for finding clips and assembling the video, and a timeline you can actually see and edit. You can ask for changes, or just drag the damn clip yourself when that's easier. iCloud footage is a big focus too, because getting material into the process is its own pain in the ass. I'm trying to make it easier to go from “here's my footage and what I want to say” to a video, without having to build your own editing pipeline first. I've published a couple of videos through it. Still rough, Mac only for now. If you'd like to try the early beta, comment or DM me - first try is on me. submitted by /u/Simple_Leo [link] [comments]
